Metro notes:

There’s a busker playing guitar at the Huntington station every evening. In my book he’s not a real busker because he plays with sheet music. But that’s neither here nor there. The point is - I’ve heard him play Wonderwall 3 out of the last 7 work nights. He’s also fond of Hallelujah because I’ve heard that one twice. Mix it up, dude! Also, learn some slightly more peppy stuff. Do you think if I bought him sheet music he’d play it? Single ladies it is!

Today this kid wearing one of those popular animal hats was playing the staring game with me. I told him I like his hat because it was a raccoon and they’re my spirit animal (I didn’t tell him the spirit animal part). He says “no! it’s a cat! gato! tiene un gato?” Apparently this kid did not speak much English because I tried explaining it was a raccoon and he just kept saying gato. And now I’m going to look up the spanish word for raccoon. Mapache. El mapache es me animal de espiritu!
