washingtonpoststyle: Former White House florist Nancy Clarke has died. Her Web site has a lovely gallery of her work for six American presidents. Sad day! I met her at BEA last year when I went to get an ARC of her book My First Ladies, which was a fun read. As she signed my copy I told her that the florist prep room was the highlight of the White House tour I took when I was little. I got to walk in the flower fridge and it was chalk full of daisies. Not impressed at all by the press room, but show me a room full of daisies…
